The region is increasingly being discovered as a top culinary location, where innovation and age-old traditions go hand in hand. Whether you’re looking for a casual spot among the locals or an evening of elaborate dining; the choice is vast.

  • Fresh from the Adriatic Sea
    For lovers of fish, the coast near San Benedetto del Tronto is a paradise. In the harbor and along the promenade you will find excellent seafood restaurants. From honest, freshly caught fish from the grill on a casual terrace to refined, modern dishes praised even in the guides of Gambero Rosso and Michelin.

  • Honest regional dishes and meat specialties
    If you drive into the hills, you’ll come across authentic osterias and trattorias. Here it’s all about robust flavors of meat and fresh vegetables. Sample local specialties such as the famous stuffed olives or a rich, homemade pasta while looking out over the rolling valley.

    Our region is world famous for its characterful white Pecorino and powerful red Rosso Piceno. We prefer to work with small, organic winemakers in our immediate area. These passionate producers make honest wines with respect for nature and the tradition of Le Marche. To let you enjoy this to the fullest, we regularly organize joint wine tastings. It is a unique opportunity to discover the passion behind the bottle and taste the wine at the place where it is produced.

  • A Visit to the Cantina
    A visit to a local Cantina is an experience in itself. You often get a tour of the authentic cellars and taste the wine while looking out over the vineyards where the grapes have been slowly ripened in the Italian sun.

  • Olive Oil Tasting
    In addition to wine, our region is the proud producer of high-quality extra virgin olive oil. Visit a local Frantoio (olive press factory) to taste the difference between the various olive varieties. The smell of freshly pressed oil on a warm piece of bread is a memory you won’t soon forget.

A visit to such a farm is a special experience: you get explanations about the process from milk to cheese and see the farmer’s passion in every step. From the soft, young Pecorino to the spicy, aged varieties that have spent months in caves or under hay; the taste is unparalleled. Often you get to taste on the spot and take home your favorite cheese right away.

  • Typical Sausages and Salumi
    The region is also known for its characterful cured meats. The pride of Le Marche is the Ciauscolo, a unique, soft salami that you spread on bread. But think also of the artisanal prosciutto and the hearty salame fabriano. During a visit to the local producer, you will learn all about the special seasoning and aging time that give these products their specific aroma.

Homegrown delights: pure and organic

Besides all the beauty in the area, we also like to let you taste what our own soil produces. With much care and love we produce our own organic olive oil, a golden yellow product that is the basis for every good meal. Also our own Pecorino wine is not to be missed; a fresh white wine perfect for a languid afternoon in the sun. And for breakfast, our homemade jams are waiting for you, full of fruit that has been given time to ripen.

Picking from the kitchen garden Guests are additionally more than welcome in our own kitchen garden. We love it when you go into the garden yourself to harvest fresh vegetables and herbs that are currently in season. It doesn’t get any fresher than this: from the garden directly into your own pan for a delicious, honest dinner on your terrace.
